CULLERTON. 20 ILCS 2305/8.5 new Amends the Department of Public Health Act. Requires the Department of Public Health to analyze data that is routinely collected by the State and that concerns public health matters. Require the Department to annually report its findings to the General Assembly, State agencies with an interest in the data, county and local health departments, and the general public. Requires the Department to make recommendations to the General Assembly and the Governor concerning policy changes or initiatives that would improve the health of the citizens of Illinois.
