SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Further amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Deletes a provision that construction management services include awarding contracts. Deletes provisions concerning the selection of construction managers. Provides that a State agency must evaluate the qualifications of construction managers submitting a letter of interest. Requires a State agency to establish a committee to select a construction manager. Prohibits a State agency from requesting the formal or informal submission of cost estimates before a construction manager is selected.
