   70 ILCS 805/13.1          from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 6324                        

        Amends the Downstate Forest Preserve District Act. Provides  that      
   in  forest preserve districts located within Winnebago County, after a      
   front-door  referendum,  the  amount  of  taxes  levied  for   general      
   corporate  purposes  for a fiscal year may not exceed the rate of .10%      
   of the assessed value of the district's taxable property as  equalized      
   by the Department of Revenue. Effective immediately.                        
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Makes changes to the form of the question submitted to the voters      
   to approve the general corporate tax rate.
