RIGHTER.

(RAUSCHENBERGER)

   5 ILCS 140/2              from Ch. 116, par. 202                            

        Amends the Freedom of Information Act.  Specifies that  a  public      
   body's agreement settling litigation, other than litigation brought by      
   a prisoner, is a public record.  Effective immediately.                     
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Provides that the agreements are public records only  as  to  the      
   amount  of  funds expended or collected by the public body in settling      
   threatened or actual litigation.
