   5 ILCS 325/1 from Ch. 129, par. 501

Amends the Military Leave of Absence Act. Makes the Act's grant
of leave of absence applicable to school district officers and
employees, as well as State employees.
FISCAL NOTE (State Board of Education)
HB 677 has no fiscal implications at the State level. There
will be costs to local school districts associated with the
bill, but SBE cannot quantify that impact.
STATE MANDATES NOTE (State Board of Education)
          Same as SBE fiscal note.
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.
Provides that the requirement for school district compensation
during an employee's leave for military training does not apply to a
person who had the opportunity to train when school is not in session
but chose to train when school is in session.
