 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  were saddened to learn of the death of Robert "Bob"
 4    J. Nadalini of Auburn on December 28, 2002; and

 5        WHEREAS, He was born on January 9, 1931 in Milwaukee, the
 6    son of Reno and Kathryn Baschieri Nadalini; he married  Linda
 7    Elkins in 1956; and

 8        WHEREAS, He was a three-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a
 9    retired  Illinois State Police officer and an Auburn Township
10    supervisor; he was a Sangamon County Board member, serving as
11    chairman of the County Liquor Commission; and

12        WHEREAS, He was a member of Auburn American  Legion  Post
13    277,  Troopers Lodge 41 FOP, Roman Cultural Society, Sangamon
14    County Township Officials  Association,  Fraternal  Order  of
15    Eagles  and  Illinois Association of County Board Members and
16    Commissioners; he was a life member  of  Fraternal  Order  of
17    Police and Illinois Police Association; and

18        WHEREAS, He was a former member of Auburn School District
19    Board  of  Education, Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce
20    and treasurer of the  Law  Enforcement  Training  Commission,
21    Mobile Team Unit 10; and

22        WHEREAS,  His  passing  will  be  deeply  felt by all his
23    friends and family, including his  loving  wife,  Linda;  his
24    son,  Vincent  (Robin)  Nadalini;  his two daughters, Valerie
25    (Tod)   Howarth   and   Chris   (George)   Rakin;   and   his
26    granddaughter; therefore, be it

27        RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-SECOND  GENERAL
28    ASSEMBLY  OF  THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note the passing
29    of Robert J. Nadalini and extend our sincere  condolences  to
30    all who knew and loved him; and be it further

 1        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
 2    delivered to the family of Robert J. Nadalini.
