1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Todd A. Brown of Blue Mound, who
4 passed away April 19, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Brown was born December 18, 1961, in Decatur
6 to Charles W. and Wilma I. Davidson Brown; and
7 WHEREAS, Mr. Brown married Carol S. Jackson on December
8 13, 1980, in Blue Mound at the United Methodist Church; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Brown farmed near Blue Mound and worked for
10 the past 12 years at Crown Cork and Seal in Warrensburg; and
11 WHEREAS, Mr. Brown was a member of Zion Chapel United
12 Methodist Church and the Macon County Farm Bureau; and
13 WHEREAS, Todd A. Brown will be deeply missed by all those
14 who knew him and loved him, especially his wife of 21 years,
15 Carol; his parents, Charles W. and Wilma I. Davidson Brown;
16 his children, Jeremy T. Brown, C. Lyndzi Brown, and Chad A.
17 Brown; his sister, Arlene Lichtenberger; his brothers, David
18 (Sally) Brown and Larry (Carol A.) Brown; his mother and
19 father-in-law, Phylis and Orval Iker Jackson; his
20 brothers-in-law, Gary (Jan) Jackson and Mike (Sue) Jackson;
21 his sister-in-law, Kathy (Mitch) Urbanowicz; and his several
22 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
24 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
25 his family and friends, the passing of Todd A. Brown of Blue
26 Mound; and be it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to the family of Todd A. Brown with our most
29 sincere condolences.
