1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the passing of Thomas G. August of Waukegan, who
4 died April 15, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. August was born December 1, 1937, in
6 Waukegan; he lived his entire life in the North Chicago -
7 Waukegan area; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. August was a member of St. Dismas Church,
9 former member of St. Bartholomew Church, a 3rd Degree Knights
10 of Columbus Council #731, Local Teamsters Union, and former
11 employee of Griffin Pipe Products; and
12 WHEREAS, Thomas August will be deeply missed by all those
13 who knew him and loved him, especially his loving wife,
14 Susan; his three devoted children, Peter (Mary Ellen),
15 Katherine, and Stephen (Carol); his seven cherished
16 grandchildren, Amanda, Kathryn, Rachel, Thomas, Margaret,
17 Grace, and Daniel; his brother, William; his sisters-in-law,
18 Linda August, Dolores (Jeff) Levit, Judith Robbins, Edith
19 (Gilbert) Walter, Sandra (James) Pritzlaff, and Sally
20 (Patrick) Clancy; his brothers-in-law, George (Frances)
21 Weege, Ernest (Mary) Weege, Wayne (Susan) Weege, and Patrick
22 (Phyllis) Weege; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear
23 friends; therefore, be it
24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
26 his family and friends, the passing of Thomas G. August; and
27 be it further
28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
29 presented to his family with our sincere condolences.
