1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of RoseMarie P. Reuland of Aurora, who passed away on January
5 14, 2002; and
6 WHEREAS, RoseMarie Reuland was born on November 1, 1926
7 in Aurora; she was the daughter of Leon B. Pooley and M.
8 Irene Powers; Mrs. Reuland attended Our Lady of Good Counsel
9 and St. Mary's grade schools; she then attended Madonna High
10 School and DePaul University; and
11 WHEREAS, Mrs. Reuland was employed at the Aurora Public
12 Library after college and returned permanently in 1974; she
13 retired in 1992, but continued to work part-time until 1998;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, Mrs. Reuland, a Daughters of the American
16 Revolution member, was very much requested at the library,
17 utilizing her skills as a genealogist, and her extensive
18 knowledge of history, architecture, Aurora buildings, local
19 personalities, current affairs and finance; and
20 WHEREAS, Mrs. Reuland married Richard M. Reuland on
21 December 30, 1950, they were the parents of seven children
22 and ten grandchildren; and
23 WHEREAS, The passing of Mrs. Reuland will be deeply felt
24 by all those who knew her and loved her, especially her
25 husband, Richard M. Reuland; her children, Clare (John)
26 Korinek, Anne Reuland, Mark (Jacqueline) Reuland, Daniel
27 (Jonelle) Reuland, Therese (George Sterling) Reuland
28 Sterling, and David (Jennifer) Reuland; her grandchildren
29 Christopher, Michael, Joseph, John, Patrick, Clare, Stacy,
30 Jacqueline, Bridget, and George; her brother, Robert J
31 Pooley, and brother-in-law, Richard W. Novak; therefore, be

2 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
3 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
4 all who knew her and loved her, the passing of RoseMarie P.
5 Reuland of Aurora, Illinois; and be it further
6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be sent
7 to the family of RoseMarie P. Reuland with our most sincere
8 condolences.
