1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Millions of Illinois citizens fish, hunt, and
3 trap each year in the State of Illinois; and
4 WHEREAS, The fees and taxes paid by Illinois anglers,
5 hunters, and trappers for licenses provide millions of
6 dollars annually for wildlife management and the promotion of
7 conservation efforts in Illinois; and
8 WHEREAS, Future generations should have the opportunity
9 to fish, hunt, and trap in Illinois; therefore, be it
10 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
11 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we believe an
12 individual should have the right to fish, hunt, trap, and
13 take game subject only to reasonable restrictions prescribed
14 by law.
