1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of David A. Pittinger, Sr., who passed away on February 19,
5 2001; and
6 WHEREAS, Mr. Pittinger was a native of Pennsylvania; he
7 was a graduate of Ohio University and a veteran of the United
8 States Navy; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Pittinger loyally served as a Lisle Township
10 trustee and a Republican committeeman; he was the former
11 chairman of TAPROOT Republicans, a grass-roots political
12 organization; and
13 WHEREAS, The passing of David A. Pittinger, Sr. will be
14 deeply felt by all who knew and loved him; especially his
15 wife, Gail; his children, Paul (wife, Angeles), David Jr.
16 (wife, Angie), Mike, Theresa, Steven, and Barbara (husband,
17 Brian) Donnelly; his grandchildren, Joseph, Madison, and
18 Alexis; his sister, Mary Ann (husband, Bruce) Eckard; and his
19 brother, Daniel (wife, Theresa) Pittinger; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
21 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
22 all who knew him, the death of David A. Pittinger, Sr. of
23 Woodridge, Illinois; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to the family of David A. Pittinger, Sr. with our
26 sincere condolences.
