1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1309
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1309, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4 No. 2,
5 on page 3, line 3, after the period, by inserting
6 "Telemarketer does not mean an entity organized under Section
7 501 (c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, while
8 the entity is engaged in fundraising to support the
9 charitable purpose for which the entity was established.";
10 and
11 on page 3, line 21, after "terminated", by inserting "in
12 writing"; and
13 on page 3, line 22, by deleting "directly"; and
14 on page 3, by replacing line 30 with the following:
15 "(iv) by or on behalf of a person licensed by the State of
16 Illinois to carry out a trade, occupation or profession in
17 which the sale of goods or services is not"; and
18 on page 7, line 1, after "Act", by inserting "consistent with
19 the provisions of this Act.".
