1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. The amount of $100,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Public
6 Accountant's Registration and Disciplinary Fund to the
7 Department of Professional Regulation to contract with the
8 Illinois CPA Society for a feasibility study on
9 implementation of a mandatory peer review requirement for
10 licensure of public accounting firms.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
12 1, 2001.
