1 AN ACT in relation to airports.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Aeronautics Act is amended by
5 changing Section 25.01 as follows:
6 (620 ILCS 5/25.01) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.25a)
7 Sec. 25.01. Acquisition and maintenance of airports in
8 adjoining states. This State or any political subdivision of
9 this State is authorized to acquire, establish, construct,
10 own, control, lease, equip, improve, maintain and operate
11 airports, or restricted landing areas, or other air
12 navigation facilities in an adjoining state whose laws
13 permit, subject to the laws of such state, but subject to the
14 laws of this State in all matters relating to financing such
15 projects.
