92_SB0898enr SB898 Enrolled LRB9208008NTsb 1 AN ACT concerning schools. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections 5 17-1.2 and 34-43a as follows: 6 (105 ILCS 5/17-1.2 new) 7 Sec. 17-1.2. Post annual budget on web site. If a 8 school district has an Internet web site, the school district 9 shall post its current annual budget, itemized by receipts 10 and expenditures, on the district's Internet web site. The 11 school district shall notify the parents or guardians of its 12 students that the budget has been posted on the district's 13 web site and what the web site's address is. 14 (105 ILCS 5/34-43a new) 15 Sec. 34-43a. Post annual budget on web site. The school 16 district shall post its current annual school budget, 17 itemized by receipts and expenditures, on the district's 18 Internet web site. The school district shall notify the 19 parents or guardians of its students that the budget has been 20 posted on the district's web site and what the web site's 21 address is.
