1 AN ACT concerning space needs.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Space Needs Act is amended by changing
5 Section 3.08 as follows:
6 (25 ILCS 125/3.08) (from Ch. 63, par. 223.08)
7 Sec. 3.08. To acquire land in the City of Springfield
8 located within the area, bounded by Washington, Third, Cook
9 and Pasfield Streets, for the purpose of providing space for
10 operation and expansion of the Capitol Complex or other State
11 facilities and to transfer such land or portions thereof to
12 the Department of Central Management Services.

14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
15 becoming law.
