1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 663
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 663, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate amendment
4 1, on page 1 by replacing line 4 with the following:
5 "Section 24-1, Section 24A-1 (new) and Section 24B-2 as
6 follows:"; and
7 on page 3, by inserting immediately after line 34 the
8 following:
9 "(10 ILCS 5/24A-1)
10 Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the
11 contrary, no voting system shall be authorized by the State
12 Board of Elections or used by an election authority to detect
13 undervoted ballots or ballots that do not contain the
14 initials of a judge of election. Undervoted ballots are
15 ballots in which the voter does not vote for any candidate
16 for an office.".
