1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Palermo's Restaurant was established on May 18,
3 1980 by Joseph and Frank Calderone, sons of Antonio and
4 Carmela Calderone, immigrants from Sicily, Italy; and
5 WHEREAS, Giovanna and Joseph Calderone married and had
6 two children, Antonio and Lisa (Adam) Cisek; and
7 WHEREAS, On July 29, 2002 the Calderone family embarks
8 upon a new endeavor by opening an additional restaurant in
9 Orland Park, Illinois, thereby continuing the family
10 tradition; and
11 WHEREAS, May the Calderone family continue to serve as a
12 fine example to us all through their exemplary service,
13 kindness, and fortitude; and
14 WHEREAS, The Calderone Family will be celebrating this
15 special occasion with their loving family and friends;
16 therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we congratulate the Calderone Family on this grand occasion
20 and we also wish them many more years of happiness; and be it
21 further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the Calderone Family as an expression of our
24 esteem.
