1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, House Resolution 69, adopted on March 28, 2001,
3 created the House Task Force on Hispanic Teen Pregnancy to
4 study the rate of pregnancy among Hispanic teenage girls; and
5 WHEREAS, House Resolution 69 provided that the Task Force
6 was to submit a report of its findings and recommendations to
7 the House of Representatives by September 1, 2001; and
8 WHEREAS, The Task Force has not been able to complete its
9 study and submit its report; therefore, be it
10 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
11 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12 the House Task Force on Hispanic Teen Pregnancy shall
13 complete its study of the rate of pregnancy among Hispanic
14 teenage girls and shall submit a report of its findings and
15 recommendations, including recommendations for legislation,
16 to the House of Representatives no later than December 1,
17 2002.
