1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Thomas
3 Dubelbeis has retired after more than ten years of dedicated
4 and outstanding service as a Trustee in the Village of Orland
5 Park; and
6 WHEREAS, Mr. Dubelbeis has resigned to avoid any conflict
7 of interest in operating his newest business venture, Sam
8 McGuire's Pub and Restaurant; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Dubelbeis graduated from St. Sabina Grade
10 School, De LaSalle High School, and received his bachelor's
11 degree from Chicago Teacher's College; and
12 WHEREAS, Mr. Dubelbeis was an outstanding member of Beta
13 Sigma Alpha during his college days at Chicago Teacher's
14 College; and
15 WHEREAS, Tom Dubelbeis married Therese Rohan on April 18,
16 1975, and has two beautiful daughters, Eileen and Susan; and
17 WHEREAS, Tom Dubelbeis has been an outstanding citizen
18 and contributor to the Village of Orland Park since he and
19 his family arrived in 1983; and
20 WHEREAS, September 4, 2001, was proclaimed Thomas M.
21 Dubelbeis Day in the Village of Orland Park; therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
23 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
24 we congratulate Thomas M. Dubelbeis for his significant and
25 many contributions to the citizens of Orland Park, and we
26 wish him continued success in his newest business endeavor,
27 Sam McGuire's Pub and Restaurant; and be it further
28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
29 presented to Thomas M. Dubelbeis as an expression of our
30 esteem.
