1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois Public Pension Fund Association was
3 established in 1985 by James M. McNamee and other original
4 founding members; and
5 WHEREAS, Through Mr. McNamee's vision, leadership, and
6 determination, the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association
7 has met all challenges and accomplished many educational as
8 well as other goals thereby protecting and improving the
9 pension funds of police officers, firefighters, and their
10 survivors throughout the State of Illinois; and
11 WHEREAS, In recognition of his distinguished service, the
12 Board of Directors of the Illinois Public Pension Fund
13 Association presented Mr. McNamee with the Founder's Award on
14 December 11, 1998; and
15 WHEREAS, James McNamee has served the City of Barrington
16 as a police officer for the past 23 years; and
17 WHEREAS, James McNamee has had the love and support of
18 his loving family, who include his wife of 12 years, Denise,
19 and his children, Sean and Rosie; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
21 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
22 we honor James M. McNamee for his continued dedication,
23 exceptional personal commitment, and distinguished service
24 with the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association for the
25 past 17 years; and be it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to James M. McNamee as an expression of our esteem.
