1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are proud to recognize significant events in
4 the lives of the citizens of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, Christopher Stallman, and esteemed resident of
6 Bradley and a student at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High
7 School, has achieved national recognition for exemplary
8 volunteer service by receiving a 2002 Prudential Spirit of
9 Community Award; and
10 WHEREAS, This prestigious award, presented by Prudential
11 Financial in partnership with the National Association of
12 Secondary School Principals, honors young volunteers across
13 America who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to
14 serving their communities; and
15 WHEREAS, Mr. Christopher Stallman earned this award by
16 giving generously of his time and energy to founding an
17 Internet Web site, "teenanalyst.com," through which he
18 educates teenagers about the importance of developing smart
19 money habits at a young age; and
20 WHEREAS, The success of the State of Illinois, the
21 strength of our communities, and the overall vitality of
22 American society depend, in great measure, upon the
23 dedication of young people like Mr. Stallman who use their
24 considerable talents and resources to serve others; therefore
25 be it
26 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
27 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
28 we congratulate Christopher Stallman as a recipient of a
29 Prudential Spirit of Community Award, recognize his
30 outstanding record of volunteer service, peer leadership and
31 community spirit, and extend our best wishes for his

1 continued success and happiness; and be it further
2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to Christopher Stallman of Bradley as an expression
4 of our esteem.
