 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, On April  21,  2002,  Oak  Lawn-Hometown  School
 3    District 123 will celebrate its 100th anniversary; and

 4        WHEREAS,  District  personnel have achieved their mission
 5    and have set their goals even higher throughout the  decades;
 6    and

 7        WHEREAS,  The  commitment of everyone, especially parents
 8    and community  members,  has  made  the  past  100  years  of
 9    excellence possible; and

10        WHEREAS,  The  schools  in the Oak Lawn-Hometown district
11    are: Covington, Hannum, Hometown, Kolmar, McGugan, and Sward;
12    and

13        WHEREAS,  Superintendent  Jim  Paziotopoulos,   Assistant
14    Superintendent/Business   Administrator,   Robert  Kolb,  and
15    Assistant Superintendent Kathleen  McCord  provide  excellent
16    leadership  to the district and look forward to guiding it in
17    the next decade; and

18        WHEREAS, The school  and  school  district  personnel  in
19    Illinois  are  a  dedicated, creative, and hard working group
20    and deserve our commendation; therefore, be it

21        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
22    NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
23    we  congratulate Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 on its
24    100th anniversary, commend all who work in  its  schools  and
25    district office for their commitment to helping children, and
26    wish the district continuing success; and be it further

27        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
28    presented to Jim Paziotopoulos.
