1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are honored to recognize milestone events in
4 the lives of the citizens of the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Robert
6 Maggioncalda has retired from the Chicago Fire Department
7 after 32 years of service; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Maggioncalda began his career with the
9 Chicago Fire Department on February 16, 1969, and at the time
10 of his retirement in November, 2001, he served as a
11 firefighter assigned to Engine 124; and
12 WHEREAS, Mr. Maggioncalda throughout his career has had
13 the love and support of his wife, Eileen, his children,
14 Frank, Carrie, Kelly, Mark, and Brian and his grandchildren
15 Anthony and Tiffany; and
16 WHEREAS, Members of the Chicago Fire Department will
17 celebrate the service of Robert Maggioncalda at a retirement
18 party on February 20, 2002; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we congratulate Robert Maggioncalda on his retirement after
22 32 years of dedication and service to the Chicago Fire
23 Department; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to Robert Maggioncalda as an expression of our
26 esteem.
