1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize notable achievements
4 in high school sports in the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, On November 23, 2001, the Hall High School Boys
6 Varsity Football Team from Spring Valley, the Red Devils, won
7 the 2001 IHSA State Class 3A Football Championship; and
8 WHEREAS, The Red Devils finished their outstanding season
9 with the overall record of 13 wins and 1 loss; and
10 WHEREAS, The team members are Ryan Ferrari, William
11 Chiado, Tim Podobinski, Brant Baltikauski, Colton Deblois,
12 Chaise Thomas, Tom Caldera, Rick Andes, Justin Boroski, Reid
13 Baltikauski, Erik Golden, Casey Donnelly, Steve Coutts, Matt
14 Derber, Craig Glover, Zach DeArcos, Mike Bertalot, Dominic
15 Ponsetti, Phil Villarreal, Levi Derber, Calvin Smoode, Kyle
16 Kowalski, Rick Kramer, Nick Slover, Cody Gualandi, Aaron
17 Bogacz, Doug DeSerf, Jeremy Actis, Mark Dempsey, Johnny
18 Alfano, Josh Pellegrini, Jason Haskell, Dustin Doubet, Jeremy
19 Pinter, Matt Hammer, Jake Koch, Patrick Weberski, Luke
20 Foster, Blake Peterson, Jeff Lannen, Joe Downie, Brett Olson,
21 Mike Fusinato, Dan Fusinato and Adam Hamer; the head coach of
22 the Red Devils is Gary Vicini; the assistant coaches are
23 Steve Smith, Joe Furlan, Pete Kasperski, Eric Bryant, Mike
24 Filippini, Joe Boroski, and Jim Barto; and the Varsity
25 Cheerleaders are Jamie Brendemuehl, Jacki Spanos, Molly
26 DeSerf, Amy Prokup, Maria Francisco, Natalie Golden, Megan
27 Hemmer, Allison Nestler, Erin Piontek, and Stacey Duffield;
28 therefore, be it
29 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
30 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
31 we congratulate the Hall High School Boys Varsity Football
32 Team on winning the 2001 IHSA State Class 3A Football

1 Championship; and that we extend our best wishes to the
2 coaches and the team for continued success in the future; and
3 be it further
4 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
5 presented to Ms. Patti Lunn, principal of Hall High School,
6 head coach Gary Vicini, assistant coaches Steve Smith, Joe
7 Furlan, Pete Kasperski, Eric Bryant, Mike Filippini, Joe
8 Boroski, and Jim Barto, and to each member of the team as an
9 expression of our esteem.
