1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
3 Teachers Association promotes the interest of Family and
4 Consumer Sciences' education in all subject matter areas and
5 at all levels; and
6 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
7 Teachers Association unites into one statewide organization
8 those persons interested in promoting Family and Consumer
9 Sciences' education; and
10 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
11 Teachers Association assumes and maintains an active state
12 leadership in the promotion of Family and Consumer Sciences'
13 education; and
14 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
15 Teachers Association acts as a central agency to help keep
16 the people of this State, including legislators and our
17 representation in the national congressional bodies, clearly
18 and reliable informed of the purposes, needs, and
19 accomplishments of Family and Consumer Sciences' education
20 programs; and
21 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
22 Teachers Association provides opportunities for professional
23 growth and development of Family and Consumer Sciences'
24 educational personnel; and
25 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
26 Teachers Association helps to establish and maintain high
27 quality Family and Consumer Sciences' educational programs
28 from early childhood through adulthood; and
29 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
30 Teachers Association promotes the Family, Career, and
31 Community Leaders of America as an integral part of the

1 Family and Consumer Sciences' education programs; and
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
3 Teachers Association develops and encourages the linkage
4 between Family and Consumer Sciences, business, and industry;
5 therefore, be it
6 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
7 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
8 we recognize the Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
9 Teachers Association and congratulate them for their efforts
10 in working toward a better Illinois; and be it further
11 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to the Illinois Family and Consumer Sciences
13 Teachers Association as an expression of our esteem.
