1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY, THE SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN,
4 that we urge the Congress of the United States of America to
5 appropriate impact aid funds to compensate school districts
6 whose territories include U.S. military installations or
7 bases for not receiving property tax revenues from the U.S.
8 military installations or bases; and be it further
9 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
10 delivered to the President pro tempore of the U.S. Senate,
11 the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, and each
12 member of the Illinois congressional delegation.
