1 AN ACT concerning the Department of Public Health.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of Public Health Act is amended
5 by adding Section 8.5 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 2305/8.5 new)
7 Sec. 8.5. Volunteer recognition and incentives. The
8 Department of Public Health may develop a program to provide
9 recognition and other non-monetary or nominal incentives to
10 individuals or groups that provide volunteer or reduced fee
11 services to residents of long-term care facilities.
