1 AN ACT concerning higher education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by
5 adding Section 25 as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 305/25 new)
7 Sec. 25. Sporting event; no admission fee. The University
8 may not charge an admission fee for a child under the age of
9 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game or contest
10 if the child does not require a seat at the game or contest.
11 Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management
12 Act is amended by adding Section 15 as follows:
13 (110 ILCS 520/15 new)
14 Sec. 15. Sporting event; no admission fee. The University
15 may not charge an admission fee for a child under the age of
16 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game or contest
17 if the child does not require a seat at the game or contest.
18 Section 15. The Chicago State University Law is amended
19 by adding Section 5-120 as follows:
20 (110 ILCS 660/5-120 new)
21 Sec. 5-120. Sporting event; no admission fee. The
22 University may not charge an admission fee for a child under
23 the age of 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game
24 or contest if the child does not require a seat at the game
25 or contest.
26 Section 20. The Eastern Illinois University Law is

1 amended by adding Section 10-120 as follows:
2 (110 ILCS 665/10-120 new)
3 Sec. 10-120. Sporting event; no admission fee. The
4 University may not charge an admission fee for a child under
5 the age of 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game
6 or contest if the child does not require a seat at the game
7 or contest.
8 Section 25. The Governors State University Law is amended
9 by adding Section 15-120 as follows:
10 (110 ILCS 670/15-120 new)
11 Sec. 15-120. Sporting event; no admission fee. The
12 University may not charge an admission fee for a child under
13 the age of 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game
14 or contest if the child does not require a seat at the game
15 or contest.
16 Section 30. The Illinois State University Law is amended
17 by adding Section 20-125 as follows:
18 (110 ILCS 675/20-125 new)
19 Sec. 20-125. Sporting event; no admission fee. The
20 University may not charge an admission fee for a child under
21 the age of 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game
22 or contest if the child does not require a seat at the game
23 or contest.
24 Section 35. The Northeastern Illinois University Law is
25 amended by adding Section 25-120 as follows:
26 (110 ILCS 680/25-120 new)

5 Section 40. The Northern Illinois University Law is
6 amended by adding Section 30-130 as follows:

8 Sec. 30-130. Sporting event; no admission fee. The
9 University may not charge an admission fee for a child under
10 the age of 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game
11 or contest if the child does not require a seat at the game
12 or contest.
13 Section 45. The Western Illinois University Law is
14 amended by adding Section 35-125 as follows:
15 (110 ILCS 690/35-125 new)
16 Sec. 35-125. Sporting event; no admission fee. The
17 University may not charge an admission fee for a child under
18 the age of 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game
19 or contest if the child does not require a seat at the game
20 or contest.
21 Section 50. The Public Community College Act is amended
22 by adding Section 3-56 as follows:
23 (110 ILCS 805/3-56 new)
24 Sec. 3-56. Sporting event; no admission fee. A community
25 college may not charge an admission fee for a child under the
26 age of 2 years to attend an intercollegiate athletic game or
27 contest if the child does not require a seat at the game or
28 contest.

1 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
2 becoming law.
