 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4912

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 4912 as follows:

 3    on page 2, line 20, after "the", by inserting "preschool or";
 4    and

 5    on page 2, lines 30 and 31, by replacing "a an annual maximum
 6    of $5,000  per  grade  level"  with  "an  annual  maximum  of
 7    $5,000"; and

 8    on  page  3,  line  1,  by  replacing "a an annual maximum of
 9    $5,000 per grade level" with "an annual maximum  of  $5,000";
10    and

11    on  page  3,  lines 17 and 18, by replacing "of undergraduate
12    study" with "of undergraduate study"; and

13    on  page  5,  line  11,  by  replacing  "undergraduate"  with
14    "undergraduate"; and

15    on page 5, line 34, after  "level",  by  inserting  ",  which
16    amount may not exceed $5,000"; and

17    on  page  6,  lines  24  and  25,  by replacing "the Minority
18    Teachers of Illinois scholarship program" with "a program  of
19    teacher   education   the   Minority   Teachers  of  Illinois
20    scholarship program"; and

12    amount may not exceed $5,000"; and

13    on page 16, line 31, by replacing "July" with "January".
