1 AN ACT concerning the regulation of professions.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Professional Geologist Licensing Act is
5 amended by changing Section 40 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 745/40)
7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2006)
8 Sec. 40. Application for original license. Applications
9 for original licenses shall be made to the Department of
10 Professional Regulation on forms prescribed by the Department
11 and accompanied by the required fee. All applications shall
12 contain the information that, in the judgment of the
13 Department, will enable the Department to pass on the
14 qualifications of the applicant for a license to practice as
15 a licensed professional geologist.
