1 AN ACT in relation to public employee benefits.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by
5 changing Section 10-103.1 as follows:
6 (40 ILCS 5/10-103.1) (from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 10-103.1)
7 Sec. 10-103.1. Application. This Article does not apply
8 to any person who becomes an employee after June 30, 1979 as
9 a public service employment program participant under the
10 federal Comprehensive Employment and Training Act and whose
11 wages or fringe benefits are paid in whole or in part by
12 funds provided under that such Act.
