1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following sums, or so much thereof as may
5 be necessary, respectively, are appropriated from the
6 Tobacco Settlement Recovery Fund to the Department of Human
7 Services for the Mentally Healthy Kids Initiative for Fiscal
8 Year 2003:
9 Increased services to
10 children and adolescents........................ $12,500,000
11 Respite services for
12 children and adolescents........................ 2,500,000
13 Mental Health services for juveniles in
14 the justice system.............................. 1,000,000
15 Medication for children......................... 2,000,000
16 Total........................................... $18,000,000
17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
18 July 1, 2002.
