1 AN ACT in relation to property.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
5 adding Section 7-103.149 as follows:
6 (735 ILCS 5/7-103.149 new)
7 Sec. 7-103.149. Quick-take; County of Monroe. Quick-take
8 proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a period of
9 12 months after the effective date of this amendatory Act of
10 the 92nd General Assembly, by the County of Monroe, to
11 acquire right-of-way for the proposed Rogers Street Extension
12 project as follows:
13 A part of Tax lots 3-A and 3-B of U.S. Survey 720, Claim
14 516, in Township 2 South, Range 9 West of the 3rd
15 Principal Meridian, Monroe County, Illinois, as shown at
16 page 122 of the Surveyor's Official Plat Record "A" in
17 the Recorder's office of Monroe County, Illinois, and
18 being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
19 BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Tax Lot 7 of U.S.
20 Survey 641, Claim 1645, Township 2 South, Range 9 West of
21 the 3rd Principal Meridian, Monroe County, Illinois, as
22 shown at page 115 of the Surveyor's Official Plat Record
23 "A" in the Recorder's office of Monroe County, Illinois;
24 thence South 89 degrees 41 minutes 50 seconds East, an
25 assumed bearing along the South line of U.S. Survey 641,
26 Claim 1645 (said line also being the North line of U.S.
27 Survey 720, Claim 516), a distance of 80.00 feet to a
28 point; thence South 00 degrees 10 minutes 08 seconds
29 West, a distance of 72.49 feet to a point; thence South

6 Hamacher Street along a curve to the right having a
7 radius of 3072.40 feet, a delta of 02 degrees 00 minutes
8 54 seconds, an arc length of 108.05 feet, and a chord
9 which bears South 77 degrees 54 minutes 14 seconds West,
10 a chord distance of 108.05 feet to a point (45.00 feet
11 left of station 14+70.48); thence leaving said Northerly
12 right-of-way line of Hamacher Street, North 02 degrees 19
13 minutes 43 seconds West, a distance of 134.41 feet to a
14 point; thence Northwesterly, along a curve to the right
15 having a radius of 19,187.61 feet, a delta of 01 degrees
16 29 minutes 50 seconds, an arc length of 501.41 feet, and
17 a chord which bears North 01 degrees 34 minutes 48
18 seconds West, a chord distance of 501.40 feet to a point;

7 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
