1 AN ACT concerning the conveyance of land.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State
5 of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set forth in
6 Section 900 of this Act, the Secretary of Human Services is
7 authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and
8 interest in and to the following described land to the
9 Kankakee River Valley Forest Preserve District:
10 Commencing at the intersection of the low water line of
11 the Southerly bank of the Kankakee River with the West
12 line of the East 330 feet of the North Half of the
13 Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8
14 lying South of the River in Township 30 North, Range 13
15 West of the 2nd P.M. in Kankakee County, Illinois; thence
16 South 00° 00' 25" East a distance of approximately 35
17 feet to a point; thence continuing South 00° 00' 25" East
18 a distance of 230.20 feet to a point; thence North 87°
19 27' 25" West a distance of 672.20 feet to a point; thence
20 South 00° 02' 10" East a distance of 326.10 feet to a
21 point; thence North 87° 29' 35" West a distance of 662.87
22 feet to a point; thence South 00° 01' 35" West a distance
23 of 1,324.89 feet to a point; thence North 88° 05' 30"
24 West a distance of 675.44 feet to a point; thence South
25 00° 00' 05" West a distance of 660.28 feet to a point;
26 thence North 88° 38' 15" West along the North line of the
27 South Half of the South Half of the Southwest Quarter of
28 said Section 8 a distance of 1,466.37 feet to a point;

23 Section 900. The Secretary of Human Services shall obtain
24 a certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
25 title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the
26 appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
27 descriptions of the property to be transferred or otherwise
28 affected, and this Section within 60 days after its effective
29 date and, upon receipt of payment required by the Section or
30 Sections, if any payment is required, shall record the
31 certified document in the Recorder's Office in the county in
32 which the land is located.

1 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
2 becoming law.
