1 AN ACT in relation to wildlife.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing
5 Section 1.6 as follows:
6 (520 ILCS 5/1.6) (from Ch. 61, par. 1.6)
7 Sec. 1.6. Propagation and stocking. The Department, and
8 persons authorized by it, may take, purchase or propagate,
9 any mammals or birds, or eggs of any such birds for
10 propagation and stocking purposes, and when so taken, may
11 transmit them to parts of the State where a scarcity of those
12 such birds or mammals exists, for the purpose of restocking
13 those such parts of the State.
