1 AN ACT in relation to the regulation of professions.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Home Inspector License Act is amended by
5 changing Section 10-5 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 441/10-5)
7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2012)
8 Sec. 10-5. Standards of practice. A person All persons
9 licensed under this Act must comply with standards of
10 professional home inspection adopted by OBRE and established
11 by rule. OBRE shall consider nationally recognized standards
12 and codes prior to adopting the rules for the standards of
13 practice.
