1 AN ACT regarding appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. "AN ACT making appropriations", Public Act
5 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by changing Section
6 25 of Article 10 as follows:
7 (P.A. 92-8, Article 10, Section 25)
8 Sec. 25. The sum of $279,049,900 $269,049,900, or so
9 much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the
10 Illinois Student Assistance Commission from the General
11 Revenue Fund for payment of grant awards to students eligible
12 to receive such awards, as provided by law, including up to
13 $5,000,000 for transfer into the Monetary Award Program
14 Reserve Fund.

16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
17 becoming law.
