1 AN ACT in relation to election information.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Freedom of Information Act is amended by
5 changing Section 1.1 as follows:
6 (5 ILCS 140/1.1) (from Ch. 116, par. 201.1)
7 Sec. 1.1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the
8 Freedom of Information Act.

10 Section 10. The Election Code is amended by changing
11 Section 24A-5.2 as follows:
12 (10 ILCS 5/24A-5.2) (from Ch. 46, par. 24A-5.2)
13 Sec. 24A-5.2. Demonstrator marking device. When an
14 electronic voting system is used in a forthcoming election,
15 the election authority may provide, for the purpose of
16 instructing voters in such election, one demonstrator
17 electronic voting system marking device for placement in any
18 public library within the political subdivision in which the
19 election occurs. If such placement of a demonstrator takes
20 place it shall be made available at least 30 days before the
21 election.
