1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3462
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3462, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated
7 for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, to meet the
8 ordinary and contingent expenses of the Illinois Health Care
9 Cost Containment Council:
10 Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
11 For Personal Services ........................ $ 623,000
12 For Employee Retirement Contributions
13 Paid by Employer ............................ 24,500
14 For State Contributions to the State
15 Employees' Retirement System ................ 62,500
16 For State Contributions to Social
17 Security .................................... 46,500
18 For Contractual Services ..................... 66,000
19 For Travel ................................... 15,000
20 For Commodities .............................. 9,000
21 For Printing ................................. 20,000
22 For Equipment ................................ 9,000
23 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 11,000

1 For Telecommunications Services .............. 49,000
2 For Reimbursements to Hospitals and
3 Ambulatory Surgical Treatment Centers ....... 2,300
4 Total $937,800
5 Section 1a. The amount of $273,700, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
7 Fund to the Illinois Health Care Cost Containment Council for
8 the collection of data on out-patient health care costs in
9 Illinois.
10 Section 2. The amount of $205,000, or so much of that
11 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois
12 Health Care Cost Containment Council Special Studies Fund to
13 the Illinois Health Care Cost Containment Council for Special
14 Studies pursuant to the Illinois Health Finance Reform Act.
15 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
16 1, 2001.".
