1 AN ACT concerning public utilities.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding
5 Sections 4-310 and 4-315 as follows:
6 (220 ILCS 5/4-310 new)
7 Sec. 4-310. Natural gas forecasts. The Commission must
8 prepare and file with the General Assembly forecasts on the
9 availability and price of natural gas. These reports must be
10 filed 4 times each year on or before January 31, April 30,
11 July 31, and October 31. At the same time as the Commission
12 files the report with the General Assembly, the Commission
13 must post the report on its website.
14 (220 ILCS 5/4-315 new)
15 Sec. 4-315. Commission meetings; minutes. To the extent
16 permitted under Section 10-102, the Commission must post on
17 its website the minutes of its meetings. This requirement
18 does not apply to hearings on complaint cases initiated under
19 this Act.
20 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
21 becoming law.
