 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3118

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3118 on page 4,  by
 3    replacing lines 17 through 20 with the following:
 4             "(iv)  An $8 per hour minimum rate beginning July 1,
 5        2001.
 6             (v)  A $9 per hour minimum rate beginning January 1,
 7        2002.".
