1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3105
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3105 on page 1,
3 line 16, by changing "(g)" to "(d)"; and
4 on page 1 by replacing lines 19 through 31 with the
5 following:
6 "(b) The Commission shall adopt rules providing for
7 enhanced enrollment for eligible consumers to receive
8 lifeline service. Enhanced enrollment may include, but is
9 not limited to, joint marketing, joint application, or joint
10 processing with the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance
11 Program, the Medicaid program, or the Food Stamp program.
12 The Department of Human Services, the Department of Public
13 Aid, and the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs,
14 upon request of the Commission, shall assist in the adoption
15 and implementation of those rules. The Commission and the
16 Department of Human Services, the Department of Public Aid,
17 and the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs may
18 enter into memoranda of understanding establishing the
19 respective duties of the Commission and the Departments in
20 relation to enhanced enrollment."; and
21 on page 2 by deleting lines 1 through 16; and
22 on page 2, line 17, by changing "(f)" to "(c)"; and
