1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State
6 Board of Education for a grant to Alta Sita Neighbors, Inc.
7 to establish the Hudlin University of Illinois Channel 12
8 Media Center in East St. Louis as part of the Katherine
9 Dunham Academy.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
11 July 1, 2001.
