1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1943
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1943 as follows:
3 on page 1, line 20, by inserting after "transferred." the
4 following:
5 "A person may not be convicted of failing to inspect a
6 Firearm Owner's Identification Card prior to the transfer of
7 a firearm or firearm ammunition to another person if the
8 person proves that the person to whom the firearm or firearm
9 ammunition was transferred possessed a valid Firearm Owner's
10 Identification Card at the time of the transfer."; and
11 on page 3, line 1, by replacing "unexplained. A" with the
12 following:
13 "unexplained.
14 (b-10) A"; and
15 on page 4, by replacing line 17 with the following:
16 "firearm or firearm ammunition"; and
17 on page 5, by replacing lines 16 through 18 with the
18 following:
