1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1692
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1692 as follows:
3 on page 1, lines 4 and 5, by deleting "changing Section
4 10-17a and"; and
5 on page 1, by deleting lines 6 through 31; and
6 by deleting page 2; and
7 on page 3, by deleting lines 1 through 24; and
8 on page 4, immediately below line 6, by inserting the
9 following:
10 "(c) A school board shall make information available to
11 the public that describes the manner in which the board has
12 implemented the authority granted to it in this Section. The
13 means for disseminating this information (i) shall include
14 posting the information on the school district's Internet web
15 site, if any, and making the information available, upon
16 request, in district offices, and (ii) may include without
17 limitation incorporating the information in a student
18 handbook and including the information in a district
19 newsletter.".
