1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 400
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 400 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 27 through 29 with the following:
4 "(a) A public employee commits solicitation misconduct
5 when he or she solicits or receives contributions, as that
6 term is defined in Section 9-1.4 of the Election Code, from a
7 person engaged in a business or activity over which the
8 public employee has the responsibility to investigate or
9 inspect, and enforce, regulatory measures necessary to the
10 requirements of any State or federal statute or regulation
11 relating to the business or activity."; and
12 on page 2, by deleting lines 1 through 6.
