Senate Sponsors: LAUZEN. Short description: VEH CD-SCHOOL BUS NOTICE Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that every school bus must display a notice informing occupants of other vehicles of a toll free number that they may call to report traffic violations by school bus drivers. Provides that the notice must include the words "How's my driving?" along with the toll free number, and must meet specifications and mounting requirements established by the Department of Transportation. Requires the Secretary of State to establish the toll free number and to send to the company or school district that owns the school bus written notice of any reported violations, including the date, time, nature, and location of the offense.
