Short description: CIRCUIT BREAKER-PHARMACY CAP Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons Property Tax Relief and Pharmaceutical Assistance Act. Provides that after a beneficiary of the pharmaceutical assistance program receives $2,500 (now, $800) in benefits during a State fiscal year, that beneficiary shall be charged, in addition to other charges under the program, 20% of the cost of each prescription for which payments are made by the program during the remainder of the fiscal year. Effective immediately.
