VEHICLE INSPECTION FUND                                                    

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Motor Fuel Tax  Law.   Provides  that  one-twelfth  of      
   $25,000,000  shall  be transferred each month by the State Comptroller      
   and the Treasurer from the  Motor  Fuel  Tax  Fund  into  the  Vehicle      
   Inspection  Fund  until  June  30, 2006 (now until December 31, 2000).      
   Effective immediately.
